Broadspectrum is currently seeking an Excavator Operator to join their Electrical Services team in Christchurch.
You will be working closely with our High Voltage team and will primarily be involved in digging around live HV cables outside Substations.
Minimum requirements are a valid class 2 full driver's licence with WTR endorsement or equivalent overseas licence and STMS level 1 Certificate.
Other experience/skills required:
Experience with a wide range of construction plant is required with specific practical knowledge of operation and maintenance of Excavator Operators and Tipper Trucks.
Physically fit as the job requires manual work, walking and bending.
Demonstrated ability to adhere to Health and Safety requirements particularly around wearing PPE such as long-longs, boots, and safety glasses.
