We are currently searching for a team of Support Workers to help care for our client in Greenhithe. Our client is a medically fragile child who suffers from Tracheoesophageal Atresia. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced support worker to progress their career further, as well as a rewarding role where you will not only make a difference in our client’s life but also their families. You will receive extensive theoretical and practical training for the competencies needed for this role.
If you are willing to travel to Greenhithe, have previous experience with PEG feeding and suctioning. Then this is the job for you!
Typical Duties
PEG Feeding
Tracheostomy Changes and Tie Changes
Personal Cares (e.g. nappy changes, bathing)
Suctioning (when required)
Wake overs - to monitor child and observe changes
We Are Looking To Fill The Following Shifts
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday – 10pm - 6am (Wake over Shift)
Requirements
Healthcare experience is advantageous
Must have a clean and valid driver’s license & own transport
Must be eligible to work in NZ
Subject to clean police clearance check
