To support significant growth in our business, we are now recruiting for two Regional Managers - Insurance Advisory, reporting directly into the GM Insurance. The core responsibilities of this role are focused on sales growth, people leadership and profitability of the Insurance Channel. This senior role will provide leadership, implement strategy and inspire a culture of professional and trusted advice to enable all banking channels to create value for their customers and for ASB.
Core to this role will be leadership; motivating, training and driving sales and profitable growth for your team of Insurance managers within the region. You will coach, develop and support your direct reports to ensure they provide professional and trusted advice and drive a culture of professionalism and trust across the team. You will focus on business development by developing and growing the insurance profile within the retail and business communities including key business partners.
To be successful in this role you will draw on your extensive knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of the insurance industry, banking systems and advice processes and also your experience in a management role including leadership of large teams. You will possess exceptional planning skills with the ability to provide coaching and assessment of others, with a view to improving the quality of outcomes. Your personal qualities include an ability to comfortably deal with ambiguity, strategic agility and be able to make accurate decisions based on analysis, experience and advice.
