As a pillar of the ASB Global Transaction Banking business, the Financial Institutions team builds and manages partnerships with leading international banks. The Financial Institutions team has specific responsibility for cross-border payment flows, while seeking to broaden partnerships in International Trade, Migrant/Corporate and Global Markets as well as others.
What You Will Do
Reporting to the General Manager Global Transaction Banking, as Head of Financial Institutions you will work closely with our counterparts at the Commonwealth Bank Group and have overall responsibility for delivering unbeatable customer experiences to International Banks and their customers, as well as ASB customers with overseas banking needs.
You will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of international banking specialists; implementing a strategic portfolio management approach to ensure ASB delivers unbeatable solutions and experiences to both our customers and international banking partners.
What We Are Looking For
First and foremost, you will have extensive experience in international banking with established industry relationships and a sound understanding of the products, systems, industry trends and risk management.
You will have outstanding sales leadership with a proven ability to build new networks and industry relationships to uncover and convert new business opportunities. Your ability to engage and influence at all levels will demonstrate your exceptional stakeholder management skills which will enable you to build strong and enduring internal and external relationships and understand customer needs.
Above all, you will be a strong collaborator, dynamic and strategic thinker with the energy and passion to lead the Financial Institutions team into their next phase.
