The role
Reporting to the Portfolio Delivery Director (Strategic Programmes) within the Integrated Networks division, this role is accountable for programme management of key programmes in Auckland Transport's portfolio including the Eastern Busway 1 between Panmure and Pakuranga with key accountabilities which include the following:
Oversight and strategic direction of strategic capital programmes for AT including the Eastern Busway 1 between Panmure and Pakuranga
Being part of the team driving programme delivery excellence across AT
Leading the oversight, direction and coordination of cross-AT functions (delivered by others in AT) required to implement the strategic capital programmes
About you:
Ideally 15 years experience in programme leadership / project management in infrastructure
Ideally five years senior management experience in coordinating and delivering change management and behaviour change programmes
Excellent programme leadership and project management skills
Has a good understanding and appreciation of the workings and functions of local government, including current and future business drivers and statutory requirements
