Do you have a solid understanding of ASB's life/risk insurance products and consider attention to detail to be a strength? What about the requirements of the Financial Markets Conduct Act (FMCA). These changes are a result of the Financial Services Legislation Amendment Act 2019 (FSLAA).
Our Training Manager Insurance Advisory based in Manukau has an exciting vacancy arise for a Training Consultant. The purpose of this role is to support the Training Manager and tasks could vary depending on the priorities.
Some Key Tasks Would Be
Ensuring SOPs are keep accurate and up to date.
Assist RMs with post induction completing an observation and providing feedback.
Creating and deploying Training Wheels for IMs (including tests).
Working closely with QA team to ensure training is aligned to the QA standards and train either 1:1 or group training for new & existing ASB Insurance Managers for the Lifestyle Security Plan Total (LSPT) advice process including the associated systems, ie ADT, onyx , teller.
This interesting role requires a sound understanding of the IM advice process, and the knowledge of the QA processes which measures the quality of the IM applications would be helpful. Primarily the Training Consultant will support the Training Manager which are dependent on priorities at that time. Training IMs to provide quality advice (IM has shown care, skill and diligence) and documentation to customers meets legislative requirements and justified recommendations. The Training Consultant will respond IM questions around the advice process and provide clarity when an IM does not meet QA minimal standards.
Applicants will need to hold New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 or working towards this qualification, along with an in-depth knowledge of life/risk insurance products and ideally previous experience in a training role, advisory sales role or QA role. Natural confidence to communicate effectively to IMs around the advice process while maintaining customer centric is essential and having the ability to challenge IMs around their advice.
