About the role
This Senior Project Manager role will support delivery of some of Auckland's largest strategic transport projects and programmes. Working in the Strategic Programmes portfolio, tasks will include day to day project and stakeholder management, procurement and contract management, measuring and reporting project and supplier performance and coordination and supervision of project teams and specialist resources to deliver transformational change to Auckland's transport system.

Supporting the Owner Interface Manager on the Eastern Busway Programme, you will be working alongside some of NZ's Consultant and Contractor elite in Auckland Transport's first full Project Alliance. To be considered for this role you will have:
a tertiary degree in Project Management, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent recognized qualification
project management certification, e.g. PMI and/ or Prince2
accreditation with relevant professional body is desirable
ideally minimum of eight years experience in project management related roles, ideally in engineering, transport or infrastructure
excellent written and communication skills including report writing.
Along with the above-mentioned qualifications and experience, we are seeking a Project Management specialist experienced in delivery of small to medium sized projects. You will be a driven, passionate, proactive team player with a deep understanding of the importance for disciplined reporting and how to use a PM Framework to deliver successful projects.
