A multi-year Risk Transformation Program (rQ) is in place to fundamentally transform IAG's approach to managing risk across the Group. It is designed to accelerate the development of IAG's risk capability and capacity to meet increasing community, regulatory and stakeholder expectations. The role of Consultant, Risk Assurance within our Risk & Strategy function will perform an extensive range of controls assurance activities that supports an improvement over our control environment. You will work in the 2nd Line Risk & Assurance function but will work with our 1st Line function as well. You will work across many areas of IAG NZ and make a difference by: Contributing to the implementation of the Group Risk Management Framework. Performing a wide range of assurance activities over systems, processes and functions. A key focus will be controls associated with our key risks and compliance obligations but will be wider than that where required. Bringing technical knowledge and good practices to enhance our assurance delivery across the organisation. Critical to your success will be your: Experience in performing and advising on effective assurance reviews and activities that results in a value-adding impact in a financial services organisation or professional consultancy firm. High level of personal drive and enthusiasm, ability to engender enthusiasm in others, ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidence and integrity, strong relationship building and influencing skills, and teamwork. Experience in dealing with a range of stakeholders (including senior management) on risk and assurance related matters. Ability to interpret and analyse complex data and issues. Strong communication and facilitation skills. Degree or post graduate qualification.
