Summary We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist with a current New Zealand registration and the ability to work within mental health to join our Pathways Auckland peer-led support team based in Papatoetoe. This is a part-time permanent role, the hours are 16 hours per week. The days and hours can be negotiated for the right candidate. Our Registered Health Professionals support people experiencing acute mental distress to improve their mental wellbeing. The team does this through various interventions including mental and physical health education, meaningful activity, linking people with appropriate services in the community (work & social etc), and developing self-management skills. Pathways Transforming mental health and addictions through fostering strong, compassionate, self-supporting communities. The Team You’ll be reporting to the Team Coach and joining our Pathways Auckland peer-led acute support team, this is a service that is an alternative to a hospital admission, working in a team of support specialists and Registered Nurses - all with a common purpose to support people experiencing mental illness. You We are interested to hear from candidates who are NZ registered as an Occupational Therapist and someone who has the ability to support and inspire a team. You’ll be known for your caring, friendly and approachable manner and be passionate about your professional role and identity. You’ll have a non-judgmental approach to working within a diverse population.
