Job role

Key responsibilities: Managing the traffic management operation within Customer Service Business Unit. Ensuring that all TC and STMS training for Electrix staff is up to date and being responsible for any refresher training courses. Drafting all traffic management plans for approval by Auckland Transport. Performing STMS (Site Traffic Management Supervisor) duties, including auditing traffic management set-ups and site consultations. Engaging with key stakeholders and representing Electrix on matters relating to traffic management. Providing traffic management advice and support to other Electrix Business Units as required. Preparing data for internal and client monthly reporting. Participating in meetings with stakeholders and subcontractors. Representing Electrix with Auckland Transport, NZTA and ASM. Conducting Quality, Safety and Environmental audits to ensure compliance. Qualifications/Technical Knowledge/ Key Skills required: Current Level 2/3 practicing STMS recommended. A trainer qualification for Traffic Controllers and Site Traffic Management Supervisors recommended. A thorough knowledge of Rapid-plan and or Auto-cat for design purpose of traffic management plans. A trade or administration qualification. A thorough knowledge of CoPTTM. An in-depth knowledge of customer and client requirements for Traffic Management. Rapid-plan and or Auto-cad design experience. Above average computer skills. Ability to write brief reports. Excellent interpersonal skills with customers and clients. Work well in a team environment. This position is based in Silverdale. Attractive rates of pay are available commensurate with experience, together with an attractive superannuation (conditions apply) and company funded medical insurance.
