In 1986, Neil Bailey, then an employee of the Royal Insurance Company, saw an opportunity in the developing insurance intermediary market. An opportunity to deliver a truly personal, professional insurance service to clients from a totally independent perspective. And not just offering products from one Insurer, but the ability to offer the most suitable solution from a range of insurers with different areas of expertise.
From modest beginnings in the family home garage, with a chair, desk, phone and clapped out photocopier, Baileys Insurance Brokers Ltd was formed (then known as "Bailey & Associates", and has developed in to a highly respected and experienced insurance broking company. We are proud to have retained our independence and 100% NZ heritage to this day.
