Description
The thing I enjoy most about photography is capturing real happiness.
Since joining Raumati Beach’s The Photo School in 2009, located on the Kapiti Coast, I found myself fall into a love affair with photography and, one year later, took the step and launched Michelle Davies Photography.
Like love, my photography is about embracing the simple moments and appreciating the uniqueness of a person – the quirks – to develop something that isn’t perfectly posed or manufactured, but real.
Now, with 8 year’s professional experience an extensive portraiture portfolio and 100 weddings under my belt, I can’t imagine a life away from the lens.
And, honestly, even if I was to miraculously win the lottery and no longer needed income, I’d still be out there with my camera in my hand, capturing the people and subjects that continue to inspire me every day.
