Hi, I’m Charmayne and my approach to photography is to make couples feel at ease in front of the camera. Let’s have a laugh, a joke, get a little silly and most of all have fun! after all it is your wedding day!
My photography style is a mix of candid, photojournalistic images- the kind that directly document the best parts of your wedding day- The raw emotions, spontaneous moments, the finer details that you’ve worked so hard on- and I combine this with fun creative and natural portraits for your bridal photos and the first photos of the two of you as a married couple.
What makes me different is that I adore love and I adore weddings, I truly do feel so lucky to share your wedding day with you- I love hearing your vows, your speeches and watching two people genuinely in love- its really special to be a part of.
How did I find my passion for photography? Well i’ve always loved the idea of being able to capture a moment in time and to be able to relive that moment forever- Photos are the only way we really get to feel the way we did again.
After completing my Diploma in Photography in 2010, it further cemented my love for this wonderful medium and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else in life!
My other loves in life are my beautiful daughter Addison, My amazing partner Brodie- We have a border collie called Kylo (for you Star Wars fans yes he’s named after Kylo Ren), A very fluffy and crazy samoyed puppy named Willow, a rescue cat named Autumn (although affectionately called Beans because she’s full of beans) and a gorgeous snuggly rescue cat Paco! and I one day hope to own a few Alpacas! (the cute ones that don’t spit!)
