Description
Hi! I’m Rebecca. I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m a wedding photographer based in Christchurch but available everywhere.
For as long as I can remember I’ve loved capturing the world. Climbing hills, chasing sunsets, shooting everyday activities. Finding the beauty in the little things, those fleeting moments that would otherwise go unnoticed.
Documenting great love stories and adventures.
I moved to Christchurch from Auckland in 2011 (the year of the big earthquake no less) and studied photography at Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology. I’ve been working as a professional photographer ever since.
My style is real, authentic and emotive. It’s about genuine connections, telling your story. Capturing moments as they happen. Finding the hidden gems that make you and your wedding unique.
If you’re not used to being in front of the camera, don’t worry. I’m here to offer guidance, direction and support to help you feel as relaxed and as comfortable as possible.
Engagement sessions are a great way to get a taste for what to expect on your wedding day so you can relax and enjoy the experience. Shooting your wedding should be fun!
No cheesy wedding photography here, just candid moments of you and your love, at your happiest.
It’s essential that you connect with your photographer. Our chemistry is important! Before you lock in your date, I suggest we meet for a coffee or glass of wine—obligation free—to discuss your big day, how I can help you document it, and have a general chat about life and the universe.
I donate a portion of the profits from each booking to a great New Zealand cause. You choose between Keep New Zealand Beautiful or the SPCA. A little bonus to help you feel good about the decision you make.
When I’m not photographing beautiful weddings, you’ll find me either out horse riding or walking, whipping up new recipes or spending time with my husband, our 10-month-old boy Lucas and our fur babies—a retrodoodle named Willow and a cat called Alvin.
