Hi I’m Jude, a Nelson and New Zealand wedding photographer.

I find it hard to introduce myself without seeing the person/people in front of me but here goes. I'm married to Megan (10 years this year) and we have two boys. Vincent (5yrs) full of life and enough curiosity to kill 10 cats. He is forever making up new words to rhyme with the ones he already has and learning new tricks on his bike. His life in summary – his words – "Yea boi, get off the brakes". Yohann (3yrs) is methodical, calculated, and can melt any heart with his loving blue eyes. He likes to know how everything works, usually by pulling it apart first... this results in me (Dad) spending a fair bit of time rebuilding his Lego. We live in Nelson and love to enjoy the beauty of this amazing place, whether it be by mountain biking, river trips, beach days, exploring the Saturday market or venturing into the expanse of national parks.
When it comes to photography I have always had a fascination with photography and constantly find myself drawn into the feel and atmosphere of an image rather than just sitting back and observing. I've been dabbling with all sorts of photography for the past 15 years or so. I got passionate about wedding photography after Megan and I married due to how amazing our wedding day was! I count it an absolute privilege to be apart of the joy, love, fun, laughter, friends and family that surround the day, and especially to capture images of those moments. It would be great to catch up over coffee or a video chat to hear your story, get to know you, and have another chance at introducing my self properly.
