Cigna Round the Bays Fun Run
Cigna Round the Bays is an iconic Wellington sporting event run each year by Sport Wellington which has sold out for the last four years. It is the largest participation sport and recreation event in the lower North Island with the 2016 event seeing 13,800 registered participants.
You can choose to take part in the 6.5km, the 10km or Cigna Achilles Half Marathon race. All races start at Frank Kitts Park and finish at Kilbirnie Park where there is a recovery zone, food, socialising and entertainment. The 2016 event was a great day for Cigna staff as well as participants. Check out our video and photo album of the event

Achilles International NZ
We're proud to be partnering with Achilles, a charity that provides New Zealanders with disabilities the opportunity to participate alongside able-bodied athletes in local mainstream events, like Cigna Round the Bays and the Taupo Half Marathon, as well as at high-profile international events like the New York Marathon.
Achilles is the official charity for Cigna Round the Bays.

Cigna Day
Cigna Day is the day that our employees join forces with all the other Cigna employees around the world to help the communities that we live and work in. This year we helped with the Cigna Kids Fun Run on Wellington's Waterfront Frank Kitts Park. You can see some exciting photos of the day on our Facebook page.
Donation to City Mission
Christmas is a time of giving. So this year we donated Christmas treats and toys to Auckland and Wellington City Mission to help families in need. You can see our CEO, Lance Walker, playing Santa and spreading some Christmas cheer here on our Facebook page!
Habitat for Humanity
In March last year, three of our employees joined 45 Cigna employees from around the globe to partner with Habitat for Humanity Indonesia to build six houses for low income families.
